This is one of the first pictures of Ryan and I when we moved to Seattle.

Am: Seattle, WA, United States; My life in a nutshell - I grew up in a Catholic household in San Antonio, TX and was raised by my wonderful parents along with my older sister Brandy. I went to Churchill High School, where at the age of 15 I met Ryan, the man I would marry. After high school, I went to Loyola University Chicago and have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication with a minor in Theology. Ryan went to the University of Notre Dame - needless to say we are huge Irish fans! Ryan and I got married in June of 2006 and we stayed in the Midwest for his medical school. I got a job at AIU, an online university and planned employee events. We moved to Seattle in June of 2009 to start Ryan's 7 year neurosurgery residency at the University of Washington. I began working at the local zoo and am one of the few who have the privelage to work with animals. I also teach religious education at our Church to 2nd graders who make me laugh every week! Although we miss our family and friends back in Texas terribly much, Seattle is the most beautiful place and has been the perfect city for us. We also get to live in London for a year as part of Ryan's residency program and can't wait!
